Midnight Garden publishing is back in March for the Hometown Olathe Family Farm Slam Poetry and Open Mic Night. This time with a fun a bunch of surprising twists, a dark horse winner, an elimination poetry showdown between "two unexpected twins", a birthday girl, and an impromptu hostess from Pink Blazer Co!

Local Author Warms Hearts and Mics For Many

Writers in Residence attended the Cass Country Northern Resource Center Library to particpate in their Poetry Series. 2025 Bard Against Hunger Dr. Gulley shared her poetry and following the event there was an open mic in which many of the Writers in Residence shared their own work. Most Notably amongst them was local Cass County Sci-fi Author Jeff Knoblauch and Cass County Poet and 2025 Bard Against Hunger, Nikola DeLanie.
